Itinerary

Start your wonderful journey to Katra by boarding the Volvo from Delhi Volvo pick up point (Guests are requested to report at scheduled time). Overnight Journey will be by Volvo. Katra or Katra Vaishno Devi, as it is popularly known, is a small town in Reasi district in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir, India, situated in the foothills of the Trikuta Mountains, where the holy shrine of Vaishno Devi is located.

Upon reaching Katra, Stop, our team will greet you and transfer you to the hotel (Check In time will be as per Hotel Policy and early check-in will be subject to availability and extra cost). After fresh up get some rest and evening visit local market by own.Eveing back to hotel.Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Early morning proceed towards Banganga to trek for Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan Darshan-one of the most popular pilgrimages of India Situated in the lap of Trikuta Mountains across Katra town at an altitude of around 5200 feet. This temple is located about 12 km away from katra; to visit this temple one has a pony or Travel by foot / Palkies from katra. Popular Belief holds that anybody who walks the Himalayan trail to her abode to ask for a boon rarely goes back disappointed. We will visit this temple either by traveling on foot or hire a pony from Katra; the Mata vaishnodevi Shrine is located in a cave towards the top of the Trikuta Mountains in Jammu- kashmir. There are three pindies of Mata Mahakali, Mata Mahalakshmi and Mata Mahasaraswati. This is believed to be the only places where these three devise are found in one temple as natural pindies. The yatra follows the path Mata Vaishnodevi took when fleeing from Bhairon.
